The Craft Shop

The Craft Shop, operated by the Big Droke Foundation, not only sells incredible products handicrafted by local artisans throughout the region, but is an extension of the rich local history depicted in the museum.

Wanda Pittman, craftshop designer, has experienced the life of a fish and forester and her choice of decoration reflects her past and other local fishers and foresters alike. The décor includes birch slab shelving, pryers are used to hang capelin seine, and herring nets make beautiful curtains.
