Time Line Exhibit
– REMAINS TO BE SEEN
NEW in the Spring
2003, the Time Line Exhibit, in the Bird Cove Interpretation
Centre, will take you on a journey from the Last Ice
Age (~20,000 years ago) to Present Day, highlighting
the many incredible accomplishments and contributions
of the Bird Cove Project.
A knowledgeable tour guide is ready to set the stage
to reveal to you a story…. a story about things
that have happened in years gone by… things that
are going on around you today…and things to come.
Time unravels mysteries.
Vibrant, colourful panels serve as a backdrop to overlying
interpretive boards and visuals that take you through
time; vibrant panels that depict the colors of the spectrum
visible to the naked human eye.
The TimeLine Exhibit will
open in the Spring of 2003.
Vibrant coloured panels will serve as a backdrop to
a story that takes
you back 20,000 years ago, to The Last Ice Age.
Just as there is only a very small part
of the broad color spectrum that we humans can actually
see with the naked eye,
so too, are the mysteries that surround us everyday.
We have learned so much…but there
is still much to discover…
the rest….
REMAINS TO BE SEEN
Coming in 2004,
the Time Line Exhibit hopes to take you back even further
in time…as the indigo and violet colors of the
spectrum magnify local history to 4.5 billion years
ago…when the earth began. It will take you on
a sensory journey …exploring the amazing geology
of the Dog Peninsula and Bird Cove area.
